With a great team, we overcame tough lighting conditions and a tight time-window to capture engaging photographs for Realtors® next bold advertising campaign.

It’s about connection

The Realtors® Association of Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie was set to launch a bold and ambitious awareness campaign in 2022, led by &Barr Advertising. The campaign, titled "Only a Realtor," aimed to increase public awareness and understanding of the value and expertise of 130 miles of coastline they service.

BRIEF

For this campaign, I was commissioned to capture the stills portion alongside Indie Atlantic Films’ video commercial. The concept was to capture the family embracing the moments of purchasing a home and the unique relationship between a family and realtor during the purchasing process. We planned to capture two separate scenes and families in front of two homes.

The goal of the production was to capture imagery that would invoke feelings of pride, excitement and connection.

GOAL

CHALLENGES

As a photographer, shooting a project that involves both video and stills can present unique challenges. The video aspect of the project tends to be the primary focus, which can restrict the scheduling and pacing for the still photography. Talent is usually fatigued after as well, so you do have a tight window.


To overcome these challenges, a photographer must have: strong organizational skills, effective communication, and experience working in high-pressure situations.

Results

Thanks to a great team, the results exceeded expectations.
