ROAR: FROM The 2026 Rolex 24

Daytona Beach, FL — It was 40 degrees. The car was packed. Thermals intact. We were en route to Daytona Beach, Florida.

I was originally on the fence about attending this event, but I was excited about something new in two ways. It’d be the first time attending a Rolex 24 event, and my first time shooting motorsports.

I made sure to prep and scout out key areas to check out on the 3.56-mile, 12-turn track leading up to our two-hour drive to the East Coast.

My brother and I arrived around 9 am. The sun was out, and the weather was perfect.

As we opened our car doors, we were greeted with the sound of GT4 engines accelerating by.

It was then that we knew it was going to be a good day.
