I never planned on becoming a photographer, it just kind of 'happened'.
Where It All Started...
It all started when I'd go fishing with family and friends in high school. I'd never forget my camera during our trips. During that time I started experimenting with photography, video editing, and Photoshop.
After endlessly developing my creative skills, I began to really focus in and experiment with photography. I photographed anything and everything. I was searching for what genre of photography I wanted to pursue. After receiving my Marketing degree from USFSP, I landed a job as a Creative Marketing Coordinator at a leather manufacturer where I was a photographer and graphic designer.
Pursuit of Portraits
I then organically found the genre I wanted to pursue and that involved taking photos and interacting with people. I developed a style that prided myself on natural but still tasteful with its own touch.
It was then when I really grew my name, my brand, and my product and became one of the up-and-coming creatives in Tampa Bay. I also began writing for Fstoppers.com, one of the most popular photography websites on the internet. In 2016, I also left my job out of college and began working at PPK as a Social Media Content Producer.
2017 - present
I became freelance in April 2017, I decided to pursue my ultimate goal to become a successful commercial & advertising photographer. Since then, I have shot with brands such as: Shoe Carnival, Bealls, Salems Gyros, and more.
I see myself in the future working with brands, big and small, and continuing to leave my mark in the photography industry here in the Greater Tampa Bay area, and beyond.
